The City of Norman, OK is having thier first Vereran's Day Parade since 1944.

More than likely only older spectators as most kids will be in school. No word if throwing candy is allowed. I'll check.

Just heard from the Blue Star Mothers asking if we could provide rides for them.

I am going to do my best to make this event. This will be on the second anniversary of owning my deuce. I can't think of a more fitting event for my deuce to finally be in a parade.

Won't most kids have the day off of school as Veterans Day is a federal holiday?

I just checked the schedules and the University of Oklahoma is in class and the public schools are out for Parent-Teacher conferences.

Wow, pretty sad when you get Columbus day off but public schools and colleges still work and have classes on Veterans Day.
