1985 1009 cucv rear end

Took my inspection plate off rear end after hearing an intermitant noise. Got steadily louder over the past few months. It does not look good. One of the main pieces has a hole worn through it! I'm not a rear end guy but I believe it is a 10 blot 3:08 with Eaton Locker. I've heard of people having new in box replacements....any ideas??????

You are correct. A little shopping about and you will find quite a few sources for new rears. The trick is finding one close.

3.08 10 bolt should be no problem to find, it is finding one that doesn't have the grenade pin already removed...

Consider this a great time to invest money elsewhere.
