Can Anyone ID this Trialer?

Was told it is a WWII airborne trialer, but i'm not so sure!

Yep It is a WWII Converto airborne dump trailer with some add on fenders and stake pockets?

What do guys think it may be worth? It's sad to see it modified but may be easy to get back to original!

That is a tough call, can't tell from the picture, it should have bolt together combat rims, hopefully the pintle has not been burgered up. The channels on the sides and front are add ons also. The floor condition is a factor. The pintle and combat rims are worth around 400 so that is a bottom price. The round tail light guards are supposed to be there. Here are some pics.

We need better pics to give a better opinion. All the added stuff can come off (stake pockets, fenders) The dump mechanisims look complete. Whats the tailgate look like? I'd love to see some pics of the pins that hold the landing leg on. Is the data plate still present?
