Serial number will tell you what you have too. If you have a NP205 transfer case (SRW) you have an M1028a1 or M1031
Dually with np208 is an m1028a3, np205 dually is an m1028a2
If you have helper springs (SRW) and an Np208 you have an m1028
No helpers and an np208 makes it an M1008 or M1008a1.

No data plate on the door post but I do have the four holes where it used to be.:D I looked at the transfer case and it is a NP208 and there are no helper springs. M1008 it is I guess. As I mentioned in my original post this truck is modified and I'm about to put heavier springs on the rear axle. If I ever remove the flat bed it is going to ride like a 915 with no trailer attached.:jumpin::jumpin:
