BUT - Like it says, that method only gets you tight enough to get to nearest service station. It does not establish anything near correct torque.Thanks man, but yeah I bought the 78:1 ratio one, they were out of the 58:1. I checked the website and all I saw was there new "half back" method of tightening your lugs. I reckon I'll email him and find out for sure.
Before I did that, I would use the previously described method of standing on the bar. Know your weight, measure and mark the bar, and that should get you in the acceptable torque range.
