Installing dashboard clips

I need to replace the clips in the dashboard that the Gauge Panel screws lock into. Can anyone explain how to install them??

I'm not referring to the screws in the Gauge Panel - I'm referring to the clips that the screws lock into.

They call those “dzus”. I vaguely remember having to squeeze or pry them into the hole.
