Good afternoon,
Look to see if anyone could confirm that I have a Rev spindle nut. I have a M1152A1. I need to replace a seal on the outside portion and just trying to get an idea of what I need before I open it up. Watched a bunch of videos of people taking them
Apart and putting them back together. Also would I have a Rev out put seal? Are they diffrent. And do they ever mix match stuff, like Rev spindle nut cover but have an old style nut in there.

thanks,

Pretty much have no idea what I was buying other than it looked cool and some other basic knowledge like it ran, drove and had park haha. Learning as I go here.
Thanks for help. Would rather get the knowledge from others to help me on my project than guessing.

Perhaps search the TM’s. They are free. Then read old posts.

Better not to boast that you know nothing when most of what you need to know is provided free. Read and search. Then when you ask a question it will be from a more informed standpoint.

We all ask questions. It’s just that usually we search first.

Purchasing a vehicle blind is one thing, but purchasing a HMMWV blind means you might be in for a world of hurt.

TM’s Technical Manuals are provided free here. I spent an afternoon downloading all of them for a trail computer. Easy to do and will pay dividends IMHO.

Welcome. Start reading and then have some fun!

Reading and comprehending is a on the weak side haha. I have read and searched a bunch. I had some conflicting info that I read about the spindle nut and that if the arm on the cover that connects to the steering linkage is longer than it would have the new style spindle nut.? It’s tuff to read experience and wisdom so I ask the gurus on here what they think.

I like to have the needed parts on hand before I open it up but I will have to see what I got going on in there before I start ordering things.
Does anyone have books on tape of the TMs.

I thought your question was already answered by RWH, it only takes 4 bolts to confirm.
