Trailer wiring

I'm sure it in here somewhere but I couldn't find it. What I have is a 20 foot trailer with electric brakes that I would like to pull with my M35A2. The biggest issue is how I can get the 12v brake system to work with a 24v truck. With the lights I'm guessing I might be able to find multi voltage LED lights.

Run another line off of one battery or add a 12 volt system.

I know this has been covered alot on here somewhere.
