I plan on getting a m1009, which vehicle needs some help in the durability area. Gotta get real 3/4 ton axles under there, and a t-case stout enough to handle real offroading. I think I am correct in assuming that the np208 in these is the same as the civilian version, eg having a slipjoint in place of a rear yoke?

That has me to thinking once i get the engine redone and other things here and there, Hmmm lets see technically i don't have to have a building permit to work on the deuce and would make a great hunting camper.. Oh lordy i have other ideas going thru the head and haven't even gotten to work on the replacement engine... I got it bad!!!
