Mine is happy at 55 mph seems to get the best mpg's there. It will do over 65 mph if you wanted it to.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I am literally drooling at the M1088. I want one so bad, just can't convince the wife to let me spend over 6K on a MV. If I had it my way a HET would be parked in the driveway right now.Just an M105 now.
Yep it's a LM105 yours is the 3rd one I have seen, one sold at Ft Riley about 5 months ago, I was out bid. Lonekazoo has one and here is the thread.Since we don't have a 915 forum, here goes.
Has anyone seen one of these trailers before?
Out of all the vehicles I loved my 1070. When we didn't have a mission that called for it I was wither on a PLS or in a 1088 with either a S&P or Lowboy. I would take the 1088 over the PLS any day. It's my favorite MV to drive thus far.
I stand corrected, I want that.View attachment 484658 my M578 on my semi trailer
Two questions, is that a actuator on the pintle and the last picture do you still have the 5th wheel on it?Waiting for my veteran registration papers and until the truck has been completely restored and painted in proper colors with proper markings. Then I need to borrow a semi trailer at least once to get the feeling of how my M512A2 truck looks and drives as a tractor.

I am not sure what a pintle actuator is. I removed the original pintle and replaced it with a fish mouth coupling, which are standard and obligatory in the Eu; military pintles are not allowed as coupling devices on civil trucks here. Two questions, is that a actuator on the pintle and the last picture do you still have the 5th wheel on it?
