Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I made something similar for another toy in my toy box.You could build something very similar with off the shelf parts.
You can grab a billet tie rod adjuster and two heim joints of the correct length and bolt diameter opening. I've built adjustable brackets that way before.
Nice! I have the same exact blower sitting on a Pontiac 455. It's even a Hampton!I made something similar for another toy in my toy box.
Not related to this hobby but it still makes noise and turns a few heads.

all the time, Tank strainer...those are stupid expensive for what they are.Changed out the in-tank fuel pick-up filter. Question ? How many Steel Soldiers have replaced this part?

Curious under the HUMMWV, CAMO
I did when I dropped my tank, cleaned it, changed the sender, gasket and filler hose, and THAT thing. WHAT a bear to get it onto the pickup tube. Took more effort than I’d expected sanding/buffing, pressing it into place.Changed out the in-tank fuel pick-up filter. Question ? How many Steel Soldiers have replaced this part?

Curious under the HUMMWV, CAMO
Back in the day I had 1966 GTO with a blower and side draft carbs that had just north of 500HP... and I was unbeatable. I had to box and re-enforce the frame to prevent cracks, and I chained the engine down because I used to rip through motor mounts until I went solid. Thanks .
25 plus years ago it was the thing.
Not so much nowadays.
Over blown and over carbureted but it's paid for.
They can get all the HP out of something that fits under a hood.
It was my first car. Still have it.
Swore I'd kill the first person that dented it. Ended up marrying her.
Still married , still have the car.
When I bought the HMMWV she said .
"If you really want that thing it's going to be the last HUMMER your ever going to get"
(If I had only known what she meant at the time)
Now lets get back to HMMWV's
Sorry to sidetrack the thread.
It is my strong suggestion that you never post vehicle identification like this on the Internet. It can be used nefariously. Please black out ALL the numbers!!!Got my legal, on-road title in the mail after submission of the paperwork last Friday. Woo Hoo!
