m66 or M49

[BLK HMMWV]

Anyone ever mounted the M66 ring to a duece.
I know the M49 ring doesn't weigh as much but wondering if a M66 ring will work.
What about the legs? Will the M66 ring still work with the M49 legs?
Also if the legs are different does the M66 front passanger side leg still need the bracket that goes in the door jamb

Yes, the steel ones I know will work, don't know about the cast ones and the M66. You still need the clamp on the passenger door jamb. Put a renforcement plate on it or the cab will break.
