Has anyone switched factory tank(25 gal.) to a spectra 31 gallon tank,I know I will need the longer straps, but will the tank skid plate still fit? Fact. tank is 10.75 deep and 31 gal. is 12.75 deep..

Your talking about a 1009? If so I changed mine to a 31gal. You need straps, sending unit, and tank. The skid plate fits just perfectly. Mine had rust in it so I upgraded :)
