Images of a 1943 WC54 Ambulance

I'd like to share a few images I took of a friends 1943 Dodge WC54 a few weeks ago.

That building is the "Schloss Nordkirchen" near Münster (built between 1705 and 1734, so its relativly new).

You're right - very nostalgic looking with the buildings in the back, and the tone of the photo. If they were taken in 1945, though, the tires would be NDTs, the ambulance would probably show a few signs of heavy use, there would be craters everywhere, and half the buildings in the rear of the photo would be in ruins.

Nice restoration, really.

Its too bad though that this WC-54 has post WWII Norwegian Army tyres on its wheels.
For the sake of having it as it was, I would install ND military tyres.
