I looked for the answer but must ask for help. I bought a winter front for my duece and it came with a hardware kit but no instructions.
Enclosed is a pic of the above mentioned hardward kit. I would like to get his installed correctly. Every pic I find is only the parts presented in an exploded view and not what everything attaches to... Can anyone help...

The more detail the better or a good site to study would be cool... Have a good holiday everyone!!

ok, you have sewn loops on the left and right sides of the cover. you attach one spring in each sewn loop. the attached steel loop on the spring is supposed to go into a hole in the engine side covers. the holes would be just behind your heater intake cowl in the pics you posted. you have to drill them in there since they dont come with the holes. the other 2 springs you will have left after that are for the flap in the corner of the fender and frame. im not exactly sure how this goes on because mine didnt come with those springs, but thats where they go.

the loops you have screw onto the grill frame. this is kinda tricky getting them positioned right. what the loops do is they go through the slots around the outsides of the cover. the strings sewn to the cover then thread through the loops like a shoelace. the seven flat loops go ontop of the grill frame, and the 4 right angle loops go in the sides. 2 for each side of the grill frame. the easiest way to do it is mark the frame with the cover hangin on the truck like you got it in the pics. the only thing is that you kinda have to stretch the cover over the loops. i start mine on the middle loop on the top and work out one loop at a time when i put my cover on for the year.
i ran my truck today with the flap all the way shut. it was 25 degrees out and my truck was hitting 200+ degrees with a brand new radiator and thermostat in it. make sure you keep an eye on things if you leave it idling with the flap shut!!!
