engine bay cleaning

i want to know what all of you m880 owners do when you clean out your engine bay, i want to see what various thing people do, seeing how my method is terrible, i use a toothbrush

I am not a current M880 guy, but I will share how I clean out an engine compartment. I like to use something like simple green or purple stuff in full strength. I scrub everything with a stiff bristled brush and then rinse with low pressure water. I used to use Gunk and the like, but got tired or the stench. Pressure washers are bad about blowing water into electrical connections. If you are careful, they are great for cleaning a heavy layer of grease off of an engine block. A steam cleaner like a Hotsy works even better. Just be careful of seals and electrical connections. That's my methods.

Apparently CUCV's aren't supposed to be cleaned at all, unless you are using a handkerchief or something……….
