OK, I thought I was going insane. Intermittent flash and turn signals on the new deuce. So, I go to working on all the grounds. New internal/external star washers on the grounds for the marker lights, rear tail lights. Still no go. Ground on flasher cleaned and two internal/external star washers put on. No go. Decided that it has to be in the ground from the marker light guard to the fender. So, I remove all the bolts, but one, sand the surface of the fender and marker light guard and put in new nuts and bolts with internal/external star washers on all but two holes. The one bolt I could not get out will have to be cut out. This was yesterday evening and it was hot and getting late. Still no go.
I had a parade today and got up early to clean the windows and such. I decided to go ahead and put in a new bolt, nut and internal/external star washer into that empty hole, just in case. BINGO!
Now, all I have to worry about is the horn, the ignition switch and tachometer etc, etc, etc, etc
