I know it dont make any difference, but which of the front turn signal light brush guards are the newer version? Arched top or the square flat top or would you find either kind on a 1969 Deuce?

Sorry for all the questions, i'm bored

My "69" has the rounded guard. I'm no expert, but I believe that was "stock" for that year. The great thing about the "Deuce" is, almost every part from year to year will interchange

I've seen a mixture of them all, I had a AM General with the squared off steel gaurds, but most often you see the newer rounded aluminum ones, and once in a while the rounded steel gaurds. Probably depends on what was laying around the can point.

[3]I've had a slew of trucks and never got lucky enough to get aluminum ones. Remember on the rounded ones there are 2 sizes. The early oned for the small lights is not quite as high as the ones for comosite lights. I've never seen the squared ones on an old truck unless it was a depot truck, of course, you're mileage may vary[/3]!

The aluminum ones I've noticed are also drilled for adding the extra marker lights. I'll try to take a pic of them if this weather will leave me alone. Can't go out in the rain I might melt LOL
