Just wanted to say hello.
I've been lurking for a few years, but finally found a CUCV. I live in central VA, but I grew up in piedmont NC. I notice there's quite a few members nearby. Thought I'd say hello.
Background - 7 years in the VAARNG as a 13B. Driven plenty of wheeled .mil vehicles, including M1008, M1009, M35, M813, M925, M1027? (5T FMTV prime mover), M998, M1025/6, M1114. Never driven a tracked vehicle, but I would like to!
1 year overseas in OIF3
2 kids, 1 wife!
Dumb street cop as a day job, tinker with toys on my time off. I love to off-road, work on my vehicles, and play with my kids. I've got family in Tidewater VA and metro-Charlotte so I travel to both of those places regularly. Hope to meet some of y'all in person!
