If this is a repeat I am sorry...last post was during a lightening storm in Tx. and everything went down. I am back on the net for a day or two and need experienced info. My rear main was dumping lots of oil on the clutch and we could barely pull. Pulled the trans and put in new rear seal, new clutch! About 100 miles out it started again and is almost back to being fatal! the truck has a 1994 military replacement 1D with 17,000 miles. Any thoughts would be welcome...man I am too old to want to pull that trans again...and on the road it is the pits!
Thanks,

The only thing I can think of in that short of a distance is a restricted crankcase vent. Be sure the vent plumbing from the valve covers, and the downdraft tube, are free of restrictions.

Thanks...that is the kind of input I had hoped for. It never crossed my mind but we spent the summer at 11,000ft. in Colorado and the chipmonks built nests in everything that was open. Downdraft could be plugged. I will start there and thanks again! We are heading out on the road again so will not be checking the site for awhile so your input was timely!
