4.2kw genset need help

I recently aquired several 4.2kw gensets with housing, the kind found on a M577 command post track. Today I got one running, but no generator output. Does anyone have a manual or a troubleshooting guide? I'm thinking since it's a dc generator the field coils may need flashing, but I don't know which leads are the field coils.

I've sold all the 24v genset stuff.

Do you anyone that may have the mount for the vehicle?
