M105 trailer ?

Perhaps this is the wrong forum but the best I could find. Now maybe I'm just a little ignorant here but anybody with the m105 trailers, how do you keep water from puddling on the tarp? No matter how tight I put it, water puddles on it. <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_angry.gif" alt="Angry"> I know if I towed it around that might not happen but I can't tow it everyday, it rains every day!

Funnie you should ask that, Last Friday I went to pull my M105 into the shop by hand for a Vin. inspection, as I was pulling it the dolly fell and about 20 gals. of water showered down on me<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_angry.gif" alt="Angry"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_angry.gif" alt="Angry"><img src="emoticons/icon_smilie_bitchin.gif" alt="Bitchin"> Thats not going too happen again<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_idea.gif" alt="Idea"> Theres a trick I use on my deuce<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_gossip.gif" alt="Gossip"> You can take a large piece of card board or a sheet of Masonite and put it between the bows and the tarp, it keeps the tarp from bellieing and collecting water<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_approve.gif" alt="Approve"> On my deuce it makes the tarp have a better fitted look also<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_approve.gif" alt="Approve">

Da Sgt, I was thinking of just such a thing. I was going to look for a sheet of marine plywood. Masonite holds up ok? Thanks!

R4x4,Depends on if you have any leaks<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif" alt="Big Smile"> I have two big sheets of cardboard in my deuce right now, just testing things out<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_idea.gif" alt="Idea"> If I'm happy, I will go to something like a 1/8" fiberglass sheet and attach it to the bows for a nice custom fit look on the deuce, and then do the same on the M105<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_approve.gif" alt="Approve"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif" alt="Wink">

Yeah, the 1/8th" 'glass sheet sounds like a great idea. I think I'll pull that one with both the M105 trailers.

Pretty good idea I ran across

I use a sheet of 1/2" OSB on my M101. Bridges the bows front to back. No issues with rain pooling anymore. The M105 is bigger but the concept is the same. I also park with is tongue high so it slopes rearward. Helps the water to run off.
