Does anyone know why there is a capacitor before the horn on a CUCV? The civi version does not have this. I am needing to install a horn on my m1009
but the wire is missing at the capacitor. Can I bypass it and go on with my
life?

Yes, go on with life, you don't need it. The Mil spec called for it for electrical noise suppression.

Those horns in the CUCVs are crappy at best. Anyone have any luck with a good, loud aftermarket horn? If so, what did you buy?
