I live right by Edwards and work on base every day. Someone in congress thought it would be cool to put a bunch of Marines on an Air Force base. They should have went back to the drawing board for that one. But all in all it's a great place. I will be retiring here in three more years. The aircraft on this base will boggle your mind. Especialy when they clear the line and tell us we can't go out side for a couple of hours because of some aircraft we're not allowed to see taking off or landing.

The picture of all the planes flying together as well as the 3 bombers was definately the best I've ever seen and I have been going to airshows since I was old enough to walk.

WOW! Awesome link. Wish I had known about it, I would have made the trek. I haven't seen an airshow since they closed Reese AFB down here. :( Thanks for sharing, brings a tear to my eye.

Glad you guys like the link. The A-10's do it for me. I saw one of the 20mm nose canons on display at the NYS Fair, I think it was, when I was a kid. Amazing.
