I'll see what I can get, I have a little digital camera w/ microphone that can take like 30 second video clips, took one of our hot rod on it's first test run with it.

You want videos? Go to the Tred Iron website from the guys in eastern TN. The webmaster is quite that and does lots of video. He even has a 50s era video showing a deuce running in water over the windshield, the top of the windshield. ALso has a cool video of the guys pulling an M5 Stuart off of a trailer with a deuce. Check em out! http://tired-iron.mounet.com

The underwater video might not be listed! I'll email George and get the URL and post it here for all to enjoy!

Got two short video clips of the deuce in action today, we drove it down the road to the fire hall to get some BBQ chicken, it was a real crowd pleaser

First clip is the truck driving up to it's normal parking spot with me standing next to it.

http://redneck.theexitwound.com/deucevid1.MPG

Second one is shot from inside the cab while driving.
The sound quality on this one is EXTREMELY poor because the windows were down and the wind blowing though the cab overwhelmed the microphone in the camera, and is best viewed with the sound OFF

In case anyone's wondering, the gauge I'm holding in my right hand while filming w/ my left is an oil pressure gauge we had to quick hook up when the one on the dashboard crapped out. The line goes out the window and under the hood.....

In the interrests of not hogging up bandwith, please do not post links to these videos anywhere else, they're about 14 and 7 MB respectively

these are quite emabrassing, but I had to post them anyway cause they're funny. Just goes to show that even a hamfisted operator can stick the deuce

it's all about the right line, and what you can't see is the layer of slippery weeds that are covering the just-tilled dirt and boulders (excuses, excuses )

in reference to the videos above, and this one here, I discovered my front axles weren't turning! I haven't had a chance to pop the flanges off, but the driveshaft is spinning, I'm wondering if someone has desplined it or if an axle broke? How tough are the steer axles? Do they use u-joints anywhere?

anyhow, now I'm done making excuses, here's a some video we shot this weekend, nothing impressive to other deuce owners but fun to watch anyhow. This is about the best terrain I could come up with that wasn't a day trip away, all my old spots are being closed for home construction

[3]Lance, are you certain that neither front tire is pulling? My antique 'puter wouldn't let me watch the video. Before you tear into that front confirm that neither tire is pulling. I usually pull up against a big tree in low range then let out the clutch. Evidence will be in the marks in the marks on thr grass. Also with that sprag, you need to shift through first and reverse to engage the sprage in thst direction.[/3]
