any last minute warnings?

alright, I've been researching non stop about deuces before I pick mine up, but I feel like I'm missing something. Anybody have last minute tips about the deuce, like anything that is different from any other vehicle.

Like, I know you shouldn't pump the gas pedal, only use diesel, something about the shift pattern being different, ie 12435 or something- what's that about?

always start in first gear after going in reverse if it's a sprague front, let it warmup for five to ten minutes and cool down for five minutes, part your back into when you go to turn, um...

Shift pattern is on the dash. Most significant instructions are on the dash. Monitor your gauges and listen. Take a cell phone in case you need on the road advice.
