Trailer tongue stand

So, for my m101A2, I want to scrap the kick up stand and put a wheeled retractable one on it instead. What should the weight be? I see them all the way up to 1500 lbs, but that, I think, is just a wee much.

Why wheeled? So I can push the thing around over my pintle instead of having to lift and pull it, therefore saving my back for better things...

Also, it'll help, being adjustable, when I put shorter tires on it to match up to my truck. Among other things.

Saw one for $19.

I went with the short Harbor freight model.
It comes with a weld on ring and a flat foot.
I use a hitch dolly to move it in the yard.

But that doesn't answer the weight question.

1500 should be ample. My dry weight is 1080.

The tongue weight shouldn't be much more than a few hundred loaded. Harbor freight bolt ons work well too.
