Winch in Ft Bragg to NM

I just won a 5 ton winch at Ft Bragg NC and need it moved to Aztec NM. Anybody doing a cross country trip?

GL says it weighs 2500lbs, is that right for just the winch?

Sounds heavy!! Had the winch w/cable for my deuce shipped from W.Palm Beach Fl. to Clinton Ia. for $177, 335lbs. Used Freightquote.com.
