Got an M35A2 in April. It had alot of robbed parts from it. Everything is returned including a new harness, starter relay, batteries, and alternator. These were either missing or really cut up. I get power to the dash and it seems to drain the battery when the push button is depressed, but it does not turn over. Before I installed the relay I jumped the solenoid and it turned over. I have screwed with this for a long time-any ideas???? By the way this is my first post, so if it's screwed up-sorry in advance.

Do you have a TM? They're available for about $20 on CD. The harness is numbered, so matching numbers should be an easy job...... I'm not sure what could be wrong without looking at it. However, I live in Indiana.

You need to retrace your wires from the solenoid up to your off and on ignition switch to your starter button (from where ever you get power from) you could try an experiment by running a direct line to your starter button to your solenoid and the other one directly to your battery. This will bypass your off and on system and your main power line (harness). Then see if it will start. If it starts you have found your problem in the wiring. This is similiar in what you did when jumping the solenoid only difference you were able to test the start button. Hope this helps.

Well I messed with it some more and finally decided to check my two batteries. I had a dead cell, it is only putting out 22 volts. So tomorrow I'll be getting another new battery.<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_angry.gif" alt="Angry">
