I just came across these Jerry Cans, Would there be a need around here for a locking tool box concealed as a jerry can..? I think this is cool as heck and wanted the sites opinion. If this is favorable I am going to buy the lot and offer them on here for 10% over my cost.

OMG. That is the just cool as (poop). I would LOVE to have one. How much and where do I sign up? I would guess that the tools in the picture are not included but that's OK, I have plenty.

I think it is very cool. It looks like it could be practical as well. I could see one on the side of one of my M101 trailers with water painted on the side to help with theft. A metal tool box on the front is just asking to be broken into. Is it sturdy and where is it made.

My source is in SoCal, The water idea is a good one. I can stand on it, throw it across the yard and it does not get out of square. From 1-10 in the sturdy department I give this item a 9 in comparison to a standard can.

I'd love to have one just for the novelty of it. It'd be cool just sitting on the workbench.Do you have a price, Don?

Not yet, I am waiting for a reply for 2 pallets of these. You always get a better deal on a volume order, 60 per pallet. The cans are all NOS, the construction\ fabrication is new. I will post the price when I find out my cost.

Don,
Those things are really cool. One thing to watch out for, at XMAS season sales drop off. It picks back up at the end of Jan when new checks and income taxes come in.

I spend my income tax money on green. Half of it anyway. Joyce gets the other half.

Let us know the price when you can. I would love to have one, depending on the price.

Merry Christmas!

edit: I can't tell, are those lockable by chance?

As stated, these have been on here a few other times. Still a neat idea but search the forum another member said his wasn't that water tight.

Depending on price I would still be interested though.

I posted about these a while back. Great little idea for what it is. I will say this... if you intend to actually carry it on your truck in the respective mount I used rhino lining or something comprable to it, around the bottom to keep it from rusting out etc. as it is in the bracket.

Not being rude but is there something different about these ones compared to the last three threads on these?
Don't know. This is the 1st thread I've seen on them.
Is it safe to assume they are they same size as the real cans?
I'm sure they will be more than I can spend, but I'd like one for each vehicle.
