Manley ORV company in Ohio is starting production of a small military look trailer. They can be ordered in three styles. They look close to the Bantam and M416 trailers.

With the originals getting harder to find in restorable condition This could be the next best thing.

I think they will do well.

Hello all,

Harleyhouse told me about this thread on Facebook and I hope it's ok for me to post, but I wanted to address a few items.

We do have a line that is 100% sourced, manufactured, powder coated and assembled in the USA, it is our "Elite" line. Beautiful welds and fit/finish could not be any better.

We also realize that some people would like to save a little money and are more open to imports. For them we have the "Economy" line. All metal work and powder coating is done overseas, but all other parts are sourced here and the trailer is assembled in our shop. This line saves you $1000.

Both are the same design and are offered in our three models which I have attached here.

Keep in mind we are doing a soft launch at the moment until we get inventory where we want it. That should be October 1st if everything goes as planned. At that point we will turn the website live and start our advertising promotions.

Also you should know that although it is hard to discern in the pictures, we do have (3) patent pending design elements. Our smooth, slam shut tailgate. Our trailer rack system and our locking aluminum lid design. We have spend two years in design and R&D.

Hope that answers a lot of the questions. We are looking forward to making a name for ourselves in the industry. And yes "Manley" is my last name

If your marketing plan is assuming that everybody is on Facebook, you are making a HUGE mistake.

Treat Facebook as an add-on, NOT as your primary website. Your website should have ALL of your info.

Otherwise you will lose tons of business.

As a small business owner, I totally agree with the above statement. My business' FB page compliments my webpage. There are alot of people that are my customers who are NOT on FB...

Definitely definitely not. We have a website that we are putting the finishing touches on. Attached are a few shots.

As I mentioned we are waiting until we are fully stocked until we put the website live and start advertising. We are good on the Economy line, just waiting to finish production on the first run of Elite. You guys are just getting little sneak peak.

I am very particular about how my businesses are ran and I want to make sure I can meet the standards I set for myself before I put us fully out there.

If everything goes as planned that will be October 1st.

Appreciate the interest.

Dear Manley,

With all due respect, as good as your trailers look, and I love the fact that they are,
USA made.
But your prices are a bit pricey, after all, some of the trucks that will pull your trailers,
do'nt even cost that much.

No offense intended... Just my $0.02 cents...

Good day....

No offense taken at all. I understand. The market will dictate whether we can survive at these price points and if not then we will adjust. But trust me once you get into it, there is a lot more in "cost" that most people realize.

I do think the $2995 Original Economy is a good starting point considering the others in the marketplace.

I appreciate the feedback,

-Josh

Nice looking trailers. Will you be selling them from your shop or will you be setting up a dealer/distibution network.
From our shop to start out. We are working to get our costs down, so we have enough margin to wholesale them and create a dealer network. I will be attending some RV shows and developing some contacts I made. As well as a few other avenues.

That's definitely on the horizon.
