Lee missed the abundance of boiled peanuts since Mr. Lloyd was not there this year. He always gave her a sandwich bag worth for the event and a quart bag worth to go home with.

I was coming out of my rack just as the convoy was leaving. Didn't have my contacts in yet, and had too much crap in the bed of the truck to secure to just fire up and try to catch up. I had been laying in my rack for a while waking up first and figured I would hear an announcement before departure. I'll get in next year.

The ol' expression "You snooze, you loose," comes to mind. But I sure don't want to rub your nose in it.
I'll promise that should I make it to the Rally next year, I'll be your alarm clock's Soldier B if you don't roll out in time.
