Today my M1008 passed safety inspection (german Tüv), emission test and examination for historical tags......without any issues....
Previously I have done a few things the last weeks.....
4 row radiator , thermostat, heater, all water hoses, steering pump, steering pump bracket, steering pump and alternator belts, all steering pump hoses, fuel hoses replaced.
One mornig.....cold start issue.....replaced the glow plug relay....problem not solved.
A few days later, no starting at all.
The glow plug relay killed all 8 glow plugs.....replaced them with new AC Delcos G60, replaced also the glow plug controller card with a new one from Antennaclimber.......all problems was gone.
Sandblasted the inner fenders and battery trays, new coating.
Front bumper and fenders, some rust removed and painted.

das ist wunderbar

Are those "site approved"? Thought I heard something about a sticker, but I got mine from Kenny, the triple lever light switch, I thought.
In an old thread, here on SS.....
So this is official Steel Soldier merchandise, patracy-approved?

Any mods here on the thread?

Does anybody know, and does some part of the sales go back to SS for the general fund or something?

That Cafe Press site Chris Stansbury set up decades ago. Those are from Steel Soldiers. Sorry about not having the light switch decals as of late. Going to see if I can get some before the rally in GA.

Today i broke the back window on Voodoo M1009. Actually I did not break it a co worker did. It shattered into a million pieces. I called the glass company and they will be out to put a new one in on Monday. No use crying over a broken rear window. I would imagine thousands of them were broken in the life of these vehicles. Very poor design that the glass extends up past the gate edge when the window is fully retracted. It broke from a Stihl Weed Whacker pole hitting it. I was driving and picked up a co worker that was weed whacking and he put the Stihl in the back and we drove down the road and the explosion took place. We were off road on a rough area of field. We removed the cover and shop vacuumed all the glass diamonds from the inside of the gate. No harm no foul. This window was replaced about 5-6 years ago. Mine in my Crown of Thorns looks like a grinder was used on it at the center of the glass. The one that broke was perfect with no scratches. Can't say that anymore.
