I have to say the 1009 hands down is the most capable mudding machine in stock form. When that g80 locker violently slams into place it will churn through anything until the bumpers get suctioned down.

If its your first few times out, make sure you get on the throttle before the mud and stay on it until you are through, the 6.2 needs a little runway to spool up so you are at maximum damage :driver:

There are really good off roading stock, i have street tires and they do great i have gone thru water halfway up the doors and i didn't get stuck. My avatar shows the tires and there are not aggressive at all but i have still never manged to get this thing stuck.

From what I've seen, a M1009 can do about the same hills that the deuce could, which are none:driver:. Its the gearing though, slap a set of 3.73s in there and the sand won't know what hit it.

My old M1009 did not do very well at the sand dunes. It was ok on flats but not much power for any hills.

Coming from the beach, just make sure your tire pressure is low and don't dig your self down in a hole.
