    What the?

The wipers do not work, nor do the squirters. I was being lazy, I'll go ahead and drop the windshield. Yeah I have a soft top.

    What the?

Got them all plugged in, from driver side toward passenger side they are connected 57f, 27k, 71c. Did I read they schematic correctly or did i reverse it? should they be from the drivers side toward passenger side 71c, 27k, 57f?

    What the?

hmmm, do i need to fold the window down to get at the contact? Currently that plug, 57f, is the only loose wire in the vicinity.

    What the?

So 57 is instrument panel ground, but the way it was set up cannot be correct. Any examples of how it should be grounded properly?

    What the?

the plug is labeled 57f, pulled the wire from the plug, it was just shoved into the plug (the end put into the plug is pictured). Cleaned it up, looks to be copper.

    What the?

What's going on here? This wire (looks like baling wire) runs from a plug, up and out of the doghouse to the windshield wiper control knob, where it was just hooked around the knob. Some sort of ground? Can I unplug this and toss it? ?

Brake lights only work when headlights are turned on?

The brake lights on my M1097R1 only work when the headlights are turned on. Any ideas why this might be?

First HMMWV, is there something I should replace before hitting the trails?

Yeah, I noticed that too, not many options. I haven't checked the tire dates yet but regardless I should probably swap them out. Just sucks buying tires when they end up costing half the price of the truck.

First HMMWV, is there something I should replace before hitting the trails?

Thanks, that's a good idea. DLA warns buyers of the tires potential condition. Traveling home tomorrow, will complete preventative maintenance and tire checks, for sure.

Going to checkout 'the narrows' along the way. A famous portion of the Peter Lassen trail, those old 49ers had steel balls.
