    Twin Poppet Valve Trouble

I reviewed the parts diagram of the valve and notice a gasket listed in addition to the o-ring. I this a traditional cork/rubber gasket or a steel shim style? Thanks again

    Twin Poppet Valve Trouble

I'm glad you mentioned the o-rings, at first I didn't know what you were talking about so I took a closer look at the pictures and noticed o-rings. Mine didn't have any to begin with so I didn't know they were needed, that could have been my problem all along. I'll have to find some and try it...

    Twin Poppet Valve Trouble

I appreciate all the help guys. To take a step back, I started of with a small leak coming out of the exhaust port. So I rebuilt the piston on the transfer case. The air leak persisted, so I replace the poppet valve next and got full air pressure leaking out the exhaust port. With the air tank...

Thanks so much, that was the missing piece to the puzzle. Also whenever I tried something I did not have the button installed so I was losing ground that way as well. Much appreciated. That horn never sounded sweeter

Anybody have...

    Newbie Question

    Newbie Question on charging

Well I have two batteries reading 6.6 - 6.7 volts and two reading around 5.4 volts or should I be seeing 12+ volts for each battery? I guess I have to bad batteries now as well but I'm surprised that not enough for even a click. They were probably on the verge of bad and sitting dead probably...

    Newbie Question on charging

Ok that is what I did (all day yesterday) but I still get nothing. No click, nothing. I seems as though each battery accepted a good charge. When I tried starting it with the charger still hooked up, I can hear the draw of current by the humming noise changing from the charger but nothing...

    Newbie Question on charging

Left my ignition switch on and my M817 is dead. How do you charge the batteries? Disconnect them and charge them individually or is there a way to charge them all at once? How to I jump start it with jumper cables from a 12 volt vehicle? Thank you

Having trouble getting to the clamp assembly directly under the cab floor. Any tricks or secrets to getting to this? I can't see and can only reach part of it. Hopefully somebody has been thru this before. Thanks in advance

    Emergency brake Removal

OK my fellow steel soldiers what's the trick to removing the e brake cable. I see in the TM's there is a steel box of sorts that bolts to the underside of the floor with a clamp on the cable inside it. I can't see how to get to it to remove it. I have removed the two rear bolts but not even...
