I worked in engineering on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System designing and testing the GE HMPT-500 and 500-3 Hydrostatic Transmission.
We (GE) designed the transmission and tested it in our Dyno test cells and at our test track in addition to supporting test facilities around the country.
I along with others spent many thousands of hours testing the transmission and vehicle and we were part of the support team for Desert Storm.
I’ve not served in the armed forces but I gave my heart and 100% to this program so our soldiers would have the best tools in the world to protect our country.
I’m very proud to have had a part in developing this vehicle for our soldiers.
