    Yes, I see now it was the fuel pump. My previous generator had a prelube for bearings prior to starting. I was concerned this was attempting to prime the bearings not the fuel system. Appreciate everyone’s feedback.

    My 803A priming pump makes the appropriate sound but my oil pressure gauge does not show any oil pressure. The gauge is fine, as it shows oil pressure once the unit starts. Do I have a faulty pump? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
