ArmyRail

I had been attending military vehicle rallies in Virginia and North Carolina for many years before buying my first MV. I like learning about all different types of trucks.

I finally chose to buy a 1952 USMC M38A1 and later got a US Army M100 trailer to tow behind it. I'm a regular participant of the Graves Mountain Military Vehicle Rally in Syria, Virginia every Labor Day Weekend. Towing the M38A1 behind my daily driver was a bit of a chore, so I bought a M1028 CUCV to be my tow vehicle.

The CUCV is an October 1986 Cargo Shelter Carrier M1028 Special Purpose Vehicle for the AN/MSQ 103B TEAMPACK System. The truck was used at Redstone Arsenal by a contractor called ERC, Inc. and likely used on a rocket or missile site. It was decommissioned in January 2021 and shipped to Warner Robbins AFB for disposal.

I'm still learning a lot about both my vehicles and I'm grateful for technical advice and mechanical knowledge.

I also own a former military railroad track inspection vehicle called a Plasser PMC-8.
