Stopped and picked up 4 wheels and 4 new o-rings today. $50.00 and $12.50, each accordingly. I'll work on buying adapters this winter.

Anyone,
A simple question, please don't read anything into my discription.
With ONLY the frame and axles and steering components of my 1950 REO Deuce with a single rear axel, will a 16R20 on a 12 bolt MRAP wheel, with plate adapter clear everything? I am talking without the body or fenders...
Not much to add as of late. Too much orchard and equipment work. I did take for a spin in the woods and broke a mirror, so I got that going for me. I sold 8 of the 12 tires that I had picked up a couple months ago at auction. I have 4 16R20s left for the project and enough money from the...
Well, I stand corrected, until I find where I read it when researching my truck. I read it somewhere, but I read a lot. Too many hobbies.. Sorry for the confusion.
I actually have a 1947 Loadmaster, LOL. And its a runner. Needs a new key switch. Sometimes runs on off, and won't start on start, but you will have that after 75 years..
m1010,
You did a much better job with photoshop then I did when I tried. LOL.
My hope is to get the frame and axles sandblasted, which the GMC cab sitting on it in the shop (heated) for the winter.
Thanks

So, almost all of the parts will...
Thanks guys. Now you peaked my interest. If they are a "farmer" repair, then they will get scraped. When I get them home, I'll get a better look.
Update, I just blew up one of the pictures and can see where they cut the center out with a torch or plasma cutter, so they look modified...
All,
I was looking at old (3-7 years) pictures of my equipment auction purchases for a plow I had, which is currently buried in snow, that I needed a number off of, when I found a picture of a set of wheels and tires I had purchased at auction for the minimum bid of $35.00 as there was no other...
Great to hear you got it running. It would be interesting to see what the fuel pressure is between the pump and the injectors, and to see if its up to spec, which I have no idea what it is. But it could show a week pump, etc. I would have to research, but I believe there is a restriction on...
I just had to go back and read this entire thread again, and I would redress what I have written of late. I would make this comment. If it don't run on ether, it is mechanical and not fuel. The blower aint turning which was stated right up front, but rather rare, maybe.
Or easier, the...
