Thanks for the help guys. I found vin numbers on the frame, they are not as long as the ones on a plate inside but the numbers on the frame are the same as the last 6 on the inside plate and that may be enough for the dmv. Thanks again, tom.

In California the DMV requires a secondary vin number to register. One is on the dash in plain sight but I can't find the secondary. Is there one on my 1988 Kaiser Duece? If I can't locate,I will have to make an appointment with the Highway Patrol and I want to avoid that. Can anyone Help...
