60hp sounds a lil high stock. But it will add more hp. Methanol burns as extra fuel. Water cools intake temps for denser, cooler air. Cold air =more power. When meth burns it creates water which cools egt in addition to the cooler intake air. Id say maybe 25hp. Bump the fuel and turbo upgrade...
I was lookin at them springs earlier. Doin springs might as well do oversized valves, port polish and oring the heads while your doin. Change lifters, rockers, heavy duty push rods. Big cam, ceramic coat the pistons, change rod and main bearings while your there.... it would be so easy to get...
Mine does 2200 on flat ground and will touch 2300 downhill. Still stock as far as i know, has seizing wire still on nuts and looks as old as the engine.
Ive always seen truck carnage as forced upgrades. I just watched the timing video today, i might give it a try tomorrow. All the numbers kinda made my head spin tho.
Do you have the how to on the timing adjustment? The marine injectors, what engine are they for so i can look up the part number?
The second video is that just for smoke/ overfueling? You say it will return to stock if you let off the pedal, if so is there any point to this adjustment?
I removed the counter weight plates within 5miles from where i bought it. Im gonna try some beads and see if that helps. Fuzzy told me most of the bounce is from sitting for years making flatspots. Hope i can get it smoothed out, cuz im not lookin forward to upgrades if im comin off the seat...
