    Torque convertor upgrade

Good afternoon everyone. I am tired of replacing the torque convertor in my 1009 every few years, and I am wondering if there is a upgraded version that can be used on a 6.2 Thanks in advance for the help

    m1009 manual glow plug switch

I have read the previous threads on manual glow plug switch hook ups. But I have two questions before I hook it up the wrong way and fry my truck. One: does the light blue wire stay connected to the glow plug relay, or does it just get disconnected. Two: does the other wire coming from the...

    1008 lift

skyjacker makes a pretty good spring for 80's model chevy trucks, and there soft ride springs are little easier on the bumps than most springs.

    Duramax and M1009

Years ago I mounted a allison 545 in a suburban and backed it up with a divorced np205. There were a few things that need to be addressed as far as the tranny is concerned. One is vibration: when you install the tranny you will need to fab a new cross member which will require new rubber...

Has anyone had to install a new vacuum pump on a 1009, and are they timed with the the injector pump or do you just slide it into gear?

    M1009 6" lift

    Updated front seats

To chevyCUCV, fyi they came out of a single cab ford. When I went to the junk yard, I sat in the seats while they were still in the truck and it had good leg room, not quite as much as in my 1009, enough. OH YEAH, the driver seat also has adjustable lumbar support.

    Updated front seats

I'm 6'3" the adjustment on these seats are great. Plenty of leg room. I'm also about 300lbs., so if I can fit in them comfortably, anybody can lol

OH Yeah, you will have to get the seat belts out of what ever truck you decide to go with

    Updated front seats

Sorry about the delay in response time. The seats mounted in with a few holes drilled right into the floor board. I had a buddy weld some extra metal on the bottom of the floor board where the new holes were drilled for support. As far as them being ultra reclined, they do adjust pretty far...

    Updated front seats

I went to local junk yard, and found some seats out of a f350 super duty for a 150 bucks, and installed them myself. I think they look pretty good.
