The body is most likely either a child's toy that he detailed out, or a plastic model kit. The plastic model kits are more detailed but also more fragile. Usually it's better to go with...

Well it's not looking good for me. We just got our house a couple weeks ago.. Been moving like crazy. I brought my Suburban to the house the first day but hadn't had a chance to look at it. (It's been sitting in a field since June). Fired right up (always does), ran down the road good, but...
RE: veh
A buddy of mine was riding with 7 other guys in one of those in Iraq... Truck hit a mine/IED and blew the heck up... Flipped over backwards and landed on it's roof. Whole truck was destroyed. The driver had a black eye because of something that was not strapped down on the dash...

That is awesome! It's been a couple years since I've played with my R/C trucks so I haven't really kept up with it. Wonder how much he wants to make another.. lol.

Yeah that's the site I was trying to remember earlier!! I like his approach.. using a Tamiya semi with a TLT front axle... now you could use a Hi-lift trans/transfer case but if I remember correctly that guy custom built his own transfer case. So there's your running gear.. all off the shelf...

Search dma's posts (his hemtt threads) there is a shot of the block ramps they built to load/unload his hemtt. Looked fairly safe and straight forward.
