Were is everyone locating there Egt probe on the header for there gauge ?

I bard my 8.3 over with the alternator pulley nut with the belt on obviously when rest the valve lashing

What year is it hope you don't have the same problem I got look into cracked block title in the forums my truck did the exact same thing yours is doing at the beginning.

Where was the engine for a $1000 listed at?

Anyone ever experienced cracks between the cyclinders on the pre 1991 cummins 6cta 8.3L engines. the pre 1991 engines have the thick wall liner witch interms means thinner block between cyclinders witch is prone to cracking and leaking antifreeze internally Cummins fixed this after 1991 figures...

Gotcha so how do I relate that to ordering parts on line for my engine ?
