I have not submitted the sf 97 yet but I will use the vin off the frame as you suggested. The only problem with that is I cant make out the first number on the vin (from reading threads I see that is not uncommon). Thanks for the great advice Carnac!
I have the same issue. The numbers on my data plate are totally different than what is stamped on the truck by the steering box. Not sure which to use for my sf97 form.....
I picked up my first m923 yesterday in DE and it is awesome! Drove home no problem thanks to several good members on this site that not only met me there but helped out throughout the process. I did want to mention that there is a whole new GL team in DE and you now need a appointment for load outs.
