My starter stopped working. It tries but it sounds like the teeth are worn. I ordered a new one. I have a floor jack and a friend to help me install. Any tips on getting the old one out or the new one in? Thx for everyones time.

Does not crank or try to crank. No 'clicking' like you get from a weak battery.

Humvee has new batteries. I started up, drove a bit. Left the lights on 5 minutes with engine off while getting a soda. Tried to start, nothing. No glow plug light. Nothing. Took off new (2 months old) keyed ignition and put on original GI ignition, nothing. Checked batteries, good charge...
