I did it. I think that it's worth the $20 to get one on the truck that's not 26 years old. Even though I didn't need it, it saves me from possibly frying a starter.

I might be able to help you if you want to put 37" HMMWV tires on it. I have 8, 37X12.50R 16.5 Goodyear Wrangler MT Military OZ tires and 2 run flat inner liners.

I am also finding that prices of 6.2 motors are becoming more expensive and harder to find. I searched for a week, all over the country to find an motor that would run. I think the CUCV's are becoming more popular and the repair parts are becoming harder to find.
