I found one for $450 on CL, and it was obvious the seller did not know the value of what he had. He had bought it for the generator that someone had installed in the bed and just wanted to get rid of it. It was a little banged up, but in serviceable condition with moderate surface rust (for a...
80-Series Land Cruiser knock-offs, custom powder coated. I have one OEM wheel because the set I bought (used) was only 4 wheels. The OEM wheel didn't clear my front calipers, so I had to "polish" it to make it work. It was just a slightly different casting on the hubside of the wheel that didn't...
Ha-ha! The FJ is mine. My wife's Grand Wagoneer is undergoing a rolling resto. That's all we have.
I think the "Cherokee" you see is really a FJ55 Land Cruiser that is in resto mode (primer gray with one white door). I did all my trailer work at a friend's Toyota shop in Avondale Estates GA...

used Rustoleum Wheel Well liner to coat the bottom of tub...

While the tub was still at the sand blaster - I did tell him no rush.
got the frame painted
while paint was drying, I went to work on the lunette to make it a bit longer. cut it in half, started cleaning up the surface.
forgot what the exact dimensions of the tube were, but this is 1/4" wall...
Finally got it all cleaned up and repainted. Pushed out a dent or two, but still have one corner that is going to need new sheet metal to fix it. For now I'm happy to have it cleaned up and functioning as I like. The pictures cover a period of a couple months. The sandblaster guy took his time...
Curious about your tarp. You say you got the canvas tarp from here.
What did you use for the tie down cord? And you painted the camo design yourself? [edit: sorry I guess my questions should be directed at Lex_Ordo]...
