    MEP-804A/B fuel float switch replacement - non-existent??

I talked to Pete at Liquid Level today. He is going to get me a quote for a single 5.5" float switch. Also, contacted Green Mountain to see if they had an estimate for restocking the original float switch. They do not have an estimate but said they may be able to find a single float...

    MEP-804A/B fuel float switch replacement - non-existent??

One more question for all. Can I just disconnect the Fuel Tank Switch Assembly, so I can use the generator, until I can find a replacement?

    MEP-804A/B fuel float switch replacement - non-existent??

Thank for the info grywitt. Is your float design for a MEP803? I'm asking because I thought the tank on my MEP802 was only six inches deep.

    MEP-804A/B fuel float switch replacement - non-existent??

I have the same issue. My low fuel light came on last week. Green mountain shows out for stock for P/N 88-20481. Has anyone tried using the WEMA KUS SSS 5.5" Fuel sender as a replacement for the Switch, liquid level. I don't use an aux fuel tank so I don't need the extra float.

MEP802A not starting . Notice anything major in video

Thanks for the info on checking the fuel rack. I had a MEP802 that would crank but not start. I went through all the steps in the TM. Then, per your video, I pulled the plug and pushed on the fuel rack and it would not move, lubed it up and got it unstuck. Generator started right up.

First post so I thought it best to try here first. I did not have a picture of my MEP802 so I posted bears instead. :D
